Delphi Automotive – When GM spun off Delphi creating the largest IPO to date; we developed the employee comms program with a strategy plan, messaging, executive speeches and onsite employee ambassador’s team for the NYSE launch. Event included world’s largest “car” hosting 500 media and interested guests, interactive interior car product demos and video links to 150 Delphi offices reaching 200,000 global employees, where employees witnessed the opening bell to the sound of an engine revving, started by a giant car “key” constructed around the Exchange podium

DePuy Orthopedic (Johnson & Johnson) – to better leverage disparate device businesses, management merged six companies to create one global franchise. Over 30 days, conducted internal brand assessment, internal comms program articulated as “Never Stop Moving.” Included new global intranet DePuy Today, management speeches, town halls. Results: raised ranking from three to industry leader

Dunkin’ Donuts / Baskin-Robbins – integrated common cultures among diverse franchisees for new “day-part” business strategy

Eisai Pharmaceuticals – provided counsel for leadership training, corporate positioning for analysts and employee communications

Florida Hospital / Disney Celebration Health – during height of re-positioning into international “gateway” entity, led internal re-branding effort focusing on integrated holistic healthcare system; strengthened employee alignment and laid foundation for unified culture; contributed to increased funding helping support state-of-the-art hospital serving U.S. and international patients with focus on mind, body, spirit – now ranked as one of America’s best hospitals by US News & World Report

GE Capital – enhanced employee communications by creating the  GE Capital World News Network intranet

GE Healthcare – after business was reorganized into 6 units, developed, led comprehensive Americas internal comms program (assessment, plan, scheduling, team, agency & budget management; launched branding for Performance Solutions; Results: leading business helps hospital systems improve operational performance

Harley-Davidson – dealership communications for launch of the leading factory customization program, H-D1, a new and innovative way to build, customize and market motorcycles

Johnson Controls – With an increasingly complex & competitive landscape, Enterprise required rapid & effective collaboration / knowledge sharing; commissioned to lead global internal comms for launch of MS SharePoint, providing enhanced comms & collaboration; Results: fostered innovative & productive culture supporting continuous improvement & enhanced operational performance across the Enterprise, accelerated innovation, increased productivity and unlocked value among 90,000 employees

Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical R&D – developed international branding / internal thought leadership program with comprehensive global brand materials, standards and templates called Innovation for Life; R&D labs moved from a 20 percent to 83 percent utilization rate and restored the SBU’s profitability

Kraft Foods – renewed mission for 21st century to engage / motivate employees; with task of co-creating (crowd sourcing) new vision of company

Mission Health (Asheville, NC) – faced with divisive cultural differences during Mission / St. Joe merger, commissioned to create new internal brand. Over 40 days, led internal audit, developed On Common Ground laying foundation for integrated internal comms program. Planned, coordinated and disseminated news through new channels, wrote supervisor guidelines and new employee orientation materials, re-vamped intranet and created internal video news channel. Results: increased usage over 18 percent, improved reputation and healthcare levels, now sixth largest health system for Western North Carolina and adjoining region

Nationwide Insurance – created internal communications program to unite employees from diverse acquisition companies around common enterprise vision

Ortho-McNeil – created women’s health product communications and digital media, facilitating new drug launches, rapid growth and minimizing reputational damage during several product recalls

Overnite Transportation (UPS Freight) – helped avert unionization and grow to be the most profitable freight shipper in the industry by developing comprehensive employee engagement and internal communications program ultimately resulting in industry ranking from ninth to second.

Vistakon (AccuVue Contact Lenses) – created internal communications branding program i-Powered Thinking to engage and motivate employees and increase sales and market position
